There is no myth of success. The facts are...

The United States with its Declaration of Independence and its Constitution is the longest, contiguous operating government in the world (over two centuries).

The fact that it is also the wealthiest nation (GDP) with citizens who enjoy the greatest freedoms and liberties further evidences its success.
