Were there actually 42,000,000 abortions around the world? No one truly knows. I'm a social worker. And although the termination of a pregnancy for the convenience of the mother is repellent to me, it is even more repellent to see what happens to unwanted children.

Please don't patronize me with Foster Care and Specialized Foster Care. On my caseload alone, I've got adolescents who are veterans of 20 placements between them, not counting residential treatment facilities.

We hear all the loathsome news about children being exploited sexually, however, you'd be well advised to reflect that there are other ways to exploit children.

Yes, it is sad that human life must be terminated at the gestational level. But what a vile hypocrisy emerges when unwanted children require services that impact taxes. Then the Pro-Life crowd turns a blind eye, frankly all to ready to imprison and execute these unwanted children when as adults they go outside society's bounds.

I love it: we'll advocate for the life of the unborn while simultaneously supporting the death sentence. Are we being totally consistent morally. I'm afraid not. Too bad environment creates criminals.

Of course all sorts of potential talent goes with them down the drain, the same way it does when they are raised on orange soda and cheese curls, while smelling second hand crack and meth smoke.

Very sad. It's equally sad for me when the elderly pass on. What experience and courage, finally laid to rest.

Absolutely not, on the cures we need implemented by man. Don't get me twisted when I say man cannot cure. God gives breath and life and each have a duty to perform. Doctors are needed for our physical ailments. We have a spirit man (our conscience and our hearts) that is sick on the inside, can a doctor see that? Jesus is the answer for the world today. Above Him there's no other, He is the way! He came in the form of a man and experienced everything as a baby, child and a man, but knew no sin! He was the perfect cure for this world. He is now the only man that has gotten up from the grave and lives today in our hearts and minds to stir us and steer us in this crazy life. It is all a mystery but the prophets foretold this before He came on the scene. He was sent from above to die for our sins and he became the go between to meet the needs that we failed to meet before God. This is only if we except Him as our Savior. He (Jesus) is the only one God will look at for us (our condition).

Many fool themselves and back ourselves in a corner and then find someone who really don't care about you/us overall, just pockets the money, move you like cattle and say next in line please. Where does the madness ends?

God has His Sovereign Will for our lives but He gives us free will to make choices. Sorry to say, we are not consistant in right choices because of our nature. We can train and teach our families but the choice is still theirs. Everyone has that God given right!

I put a question up the other day and someone who shall remain nameless said about abortion "It is a recognised form of contraceptive"
With a mentality like that answer, yes it makes me very sad.

It is shocking but until there is more education what can be done. We as parents can only do our best to educate our young but unfortunately not all parents will. I cannot speak for other countries.

Every time the Republicans get in office abortions go up. They immediately cut back on all sex education and contraception programs. Then the idiots preach abstinence. What world do these people live in?

Well let's see we have 4 billion too many people on earth right now for the earth to sustain us for another 50 years so lets concentrate on things that will help lengthen our time here. And another thing why is it we believe in war being necessary and not abortion? And who are we to judge remember this is Gods job not yours!

Noils we have a responsibility as parents. Its not the governments job to teach our kids about safe sex. I think because it is a difficult subject to talk about parents just say hey I get out it and the school can teach them. We cannot blame the gov. if kids are getting pregnant. We are the ones letting them have the freedom to go out and have sex, we are the ones that should be sitting down and talking to them about aids, safe sex and birth control. My SIL lets her teens have sex under her roof while she is at home and could care less. Is it the Gov. fault that 4 out of 5 of her children had babies while still in highschool?

It's better than having 42 million children starving from malnutrition in orphanages.
Really... it is. No doubt about it.
Abortion is sad, but a part of life today.
