Anger is related to awareness. You get frustrated at the imperfection of things/situations/people around you and that turns into anger at you inability to do something about it. Harnessing your awareness is crucial.
One very effective way to control your mind (and through the mind, the emotions) is though the breath. There are specific breathing techniques called pranayamas in yoga that do wonders to calm your mind.
if you want more help with this you can email me at www.alex@juno.com. good luck

Dear GOL,
Could be many things so let's start from the top. Coffee? If so just go cold turkey for a week. What's bothering you, problems you have not figured out? Didn't mention if on any SSRIs, but you can try 5 htp or St. John's Wart, if you get more ped off, then it ain;t serotonin. You could look up different natural herbs to calm you. Good one is kava, but don't drive till you know how if effects you, but google it.
Your brain may be firing too much and may need to slow it down. Some have to take something like xanax, can make you sleepy,
Try reading a good book or the Bible before bed. That's what I do and it gets my mind off stuff and I crash out, normally with the lamp on. Didn't mention what you might be taking for the pos, if anything. You could do some exercise, even a little three hours before bed.
Another thing is to make a list of the things you want to get done the next day, write everything down, even if you only do a couple of things you know what you get done. Send some more info if you would like. That's what I know from what you wrote. Also check any other meds you are on. Take care.

I would call your sleep rest-less sleep, since you are getting no rest and rejuvenation in the morning.
You don't mention anything in particular that is making you angry, so I have a big hunch your present state is due to the pcos.
Telly your ob-gyn what you are experiencing. His job is not only to treat your condition physically, but also to take into account the emotional ramifications. You might need hormones and you might need a medication to calm this mood down.
Don't suffer needlessly. Call your doc and talk to him/her.

Some things in life are bad,
They can really make you mad.
Other things just make you swear and curse,
When you're chewing on life's gristle,
Don't grumble, give a whistle,
And this'll help things turn out for the best, hey,
Always look on the bright side of life,
If life seems jolly rotten,
There's something you've forgotten,
And that's to laugh and smile and dance and sing.
When you're feeling in the dumps,
Don't be silly chumps,
Just purse you're lips and whistle,
That's the thing.
And, always look on the bright side of life,
Always look on the right side of life,
For life is quite absurd,
An. death's the final word,
You must always face the curtain with a bow,
Forget about your sin,
give the audience a grin,
Enjoy it, it's you last chance of the hour.
So, always look on the bright side of death,
Just before you draw your terminal breath,
Life's a piece o' $h1t,
When you look at it,
Life's a laugh and death's a joke it's true,
You'll see it's all a show,
Keep 'em laughing as you go,
Remember that the last laugh is on you.
And, always look on the bright side of life,

My mother had cysts on her ovaries and she was heck to live with when I was growing up.
After her cysts ruptured, and she almost died, my dad griped out the doctors and they FINALLY did surgery to remove the cysts. She became almost a completely different person.
She was a lot nicer than she was prior to the surgery.
I think you might want to find a specialist and see if they can shrink your cysts or remove them. I am sure the surgical techniques have advanced a great deal since mom had her surgery.

I have the exact same problem and I have Bipolar 1. But you're problem could be caused by a lot of things. I don't know about your personal situation. But you might do some research on Bipolar.

Women become like that when their monthly period is coming up. So that could be the cause. Also, try to get a good, enough sleep and see what happens the next day.

Well your brain has two parts one on the right, and one on the left, I think your feeling that way is because you need 8 hours and more of sleep, or you need to drink more soup.

You're probably stressed or your hormones are acting up. When I'm usually crammed with homework or if I have to study, that happens to me some of the times.

You may find that taking Valerian tablets ( it's herbal) will help with the moods and it should also help with the sleep problems.
Word of advice though - they taste absolutely vile so swallow them quick !
