I've notice that every time I draw something I draw an eye, every single time, even without noticing, a friend of mine was going through the same situation. I even have a painting in a huge canvas of an eye! I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas, theories, etc. Just now I drew an eye and well.. I've been doing so for so long since I was in elementary school, I'm in college now, about to graduate. So why do you think or what do you think it could be? (please ,if you are here to judge, just save your energy)

Funny, I used to draw eyes too when your age. It never upset me. And I never looked for a reason. It just was something I did.

The desire and fascination with eyes left as they came one day. I have had no problems. If you're feeling fine in other areas of your life, then I wouldn't worry about this at all. Draw the eyes, eventually it'll stop or not. It really doesn't matter in the big picture.

My guess is that eyes are the most human aspect of our face. If you covered someones face and simply left the eyes uncovered, you could tell if they were happy, mad, perplexed, etc. The saying is the eyes are the portal to the soul. We cannot hide our emotions with our eyes. If you want to know if someone loves you or hates you, look at their eyes. No other part of the body is so demonstrative of our feelings. You are an artist. You look at the human side of things. Art is one of the things that separates us from the animals. Although the mouth may run a close second, the eyes are what speak to us.

The eyes are the windows to the soul. Maybe that's why they fascinate you.
