I bought several at once for last Christmas:
Greta-Gaines by Greta Gaines very good music something between Janis Joplin meets Jimmy Hendrix.

Los Tormentos De Amor by Southern Backtones. Great, haunting southern rock.

Signs of Life by Poets of the Fall. It's in my car's CD player.

Carnival of Rust by Poets of the Fall. Very good music, sort of U2, but I like this band better.

Uppers and Downers by Fisher...very haunting music.

Jet- Shine On. Ok, not a favorite and I rarely play it.

Push the Heart by Devics...probably one of the best bands most people never heard of.

3 by Blackheart Procession. Half the songs are good, but half the songs are boring.

Fight Dirty by The Forty Fives. Rock out kind of music, although the songs do tend to blend together.

6twenty by the D4. More rock out music, but it's easier to seperate the songs.

hmmm.. I think it was Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge by My Chemical Romance. (They're awesome by the way!) because i bought the Black Parade CD by them and I liked it so I decided to get their other album. They're really good because their songs actually have meanings and they write the songs themselves. So it's not that rap crap that everybody's into right now. I hate rap! It has to be the stupidest music ever! It's not even music! Red Hot Chili Peppers is good too! It has this vibe to it that most CD's don't have.

Sky Blue Sky by Wilco. It's one of the best albums of the year...I would recommend it to anyone who likes alternative-country/folk-rock.

Orange Goblin's "Healing Through Fire" and Kevin Drew's "Spirit If..."

Both excellent, particularly the live DVD that came with Orange Goblin.
