"Winners never quit. Quitters never win."
There has never been a time where it was applicable! Life is always going to present challenges...best solution ...keep moving forward and doing what needs to be done! No time to whine...just like Daffy Duck, you pick up your beak, put it back on and go forward.

- Pick your battles, but avoid regrets. It's better to give something a shot and know for sure, for good or ill, rather than wasting time worrying. Even if you get shot down, at least you can move on to better things. - Find happiness in your everyday life. Have long-term, ambitious goals (and make them happen!) but take time to enjoy little things in life. If you can let yourself find happiness in the smell of autumn or advice from a good friend, it's easier to feel more upbeat on a daily basis. - Be curious. Learn new things constantly. It feels good to keep your life exciting and filled with new wonders, and when you always have new things to talk about, your relationships with friends and family benefit too. - Admit when you're wrong as soon as you realize it, and if you're right, don't boast about it. Owning up to mistakes and analyzing what you can learn from them is more beneficial than stubbornly clinging to your pride, and others will respect you more for it. And when you're obviously winning an argument, the other person will appreciate it if you can stop the discussion, and say, "Let's put this on hold for a bit and just watch a movie." More often then not, the issue will fade away and the other person won't have to feel humiliated. - Never miss an opportunity for laughter.

Treat others as I wish to be treated. While i have done a couple of things as a child i repent, as an adult I have a clean conscience which enables me to complain about other people's behaviour without being in denial or feeling hypocritical. Essential i believe for self-esteem and keeping to the straight-and-narrow.

Try to see things through the other person's eyes. It helps to cut through that wall of "I", and has helped greatly in my relations with people (including my customers). Another take on it of course is the Golden Rule, "Do unto others what you would have done unto you". The only way that probably shouldn't apply is if you are into sado-masochism.

I live by this motto, Never do anything so bad your ashamed to look at the person staring back at you in the mirror.

The rule I strive to live by is:

"Do unto others the way others would like you to do unto them."

(I believe this is even better than the "Golden Rule," since what I want for myself might be very different than what another person wants for him/herself. If I try to "do unto others" in terms of my own personal preferences, I could be giving them a "gift" that they really don't want.)

Never do anything you wouldn't tell your parents about. I don't know about you guys, but my parents have pretty good morals and taught me the same so I'm comfortable telling at least my mom everything but a few things I do wrong.

We should not shed tears
That is a surrender of the body to the heart
It is only proof
That we are beings that do not know
What to do with out hearts
