Sorry, but I think you are lazy. Obviously, the point in homework is so you learn what you need to learn in order to move to the next grade and eventually graduate.
I'm not sure what lying has to do with not doing your homework. Lying is just you choosing not to be responsible about the choices you make. If you're mature enough to decide that there's no point in homework, then be mature about your other decisions.

The real issue here is what you said in your last sentence: "...I just don't see the point in homework." I'll come back to that.
Your parents divorce can be part of the problem. Talk to your school counselor, sometimes there are classes with fewer students in them that really help students catch up and do well. A counseling group or individual counseling for you will help, too.
Here are some reasons why homework is important:
It helps your brain remember what you learn
It helps you develop habits you will very much need as an adult
Like so many people, lying is often the only thing you can think of as to why you aren't getting your work, or other things in your life done. It's how you avoid the deeper thinking you need to do to figure out what's holding you back, and what's really bothering you. For now, when you tell a lie, notice it, and ask yourself why you told that lie. Be sure to ask for counseling right away -you will be surprised how much better you will feel when you start talking to someone.

Homework is designed to give you practice at skills. The reason why you don't see the point is that until you have advanced, you really can't. It's like playing sports. You do all these stupid exercises that seemingly do nothing at all to teach you to play the sport, but if you don't do them, you will never get better at the sport.
Yeah, I hated homework too and just did it to so I wouldn't get nagged (I hate being nagged more than anything else). Turn a new leaf and do well and nobody will care how you did at the other school. Sometimes it was just a bad element. Try to associate with kids that DO stuff vs. those who just get in trouble.

I know how stressful your parents divorcing is. My mom and dad divorced and it was horrible--they refused to talk to each other, the "family" house & car both got reposessed--I could hardly conentrate in school. Everything was rushing through my mind and all I could think about was my parents. I know how hard this is for you and how much you hate homework, but please reconsider just flat out not doing your work. If you fail all of your classes, you might get held back and have to repeat a grade. Does that sound fun to you? I can't stand homework, and I don't want to go to college at the moment, but if I ever decide to, I want my grades to look good. You need to start thinking about what's really important. If you really can't concentrate, you need to talk to a counselor and they may be able to help you or talk to your teachers about why your works hasn't been completed. You just have to enlist the help of others and you'll be on the right track again. Good luck=)

It is not because of your parents divorce, it is you. Not to be rude, but a large portion your behavier is just how lazy you are. I know you said your not lazy, but being lazy may only focuse on one thing. There is no point to homework but to keep you not lazy and dilegent for school. My parents have been divoreced for a long time, I don't have any money, and my future is dull, but I am a straight A student because I just don't give up, it makes me sick to get low scores. All you need to do is focuse on school work to keep your minf off everything else. Thats what I do.

Okay first school is a part of life and so is homework, be glad you get a free education, there are a lot of countries that don't. Find a tutor to help you with your work or find a study group, then you are not doing the work on your own.

well if you aren't well organized i suggest becoming better organized and actually doing your homework then also keep a notebook or planner where you right down all your assignments and then having a folder or binder to put your homework into so you can't lose it

haha yeah, don't you love when people make excuses for you and think they know you. Try do do better, but don't let people make excuses for you to lower your expectations.
