Do you think my local exotic petstore would carry holland lops?

Question

I want to see if theres any chance before I call an exotic animal store and make a fool of myself.

So is there any possibility?

Sure, petstores like to carry 'cute' rabbits like lops. It makes people more likely to make impulse buys. Really, who can resist a cute little floppy eared bunny. :- ) Anyways, I don't think there's any chance of making a fool of yourself just for asking.
And if you are interested in getting a bunny, you might consider petfinder.com it has a photolisting of all the pets at rescues and shelters and you can do a search by your area as well as the species and breed of pet you're looking for. Most rescue bunnies that I have experience with are better than pet store ones because their caregivers can let you know their personality type and....wonderfully enough, most of them are already litter trained.

If you would like to find a Holland Lop rabbit or any other rabbit for that matter, try www.rabbitandcavydirectory.com to find a breeder in your area. Most of the breeders listed raise show rabbits and will usually have a few pets available out of their litters. This is a much better alternative to a pet store or a "backyard breeder" because these people are knowledgeable about their rabbits and they will possibly come with pedigrees. All too commonly pet stores can't even properly sex the rabbits, let alone help you out with any questions. Feel free to email me and I can help you find a Holland Lop.

Possibly, but Pet Stores rarely carry specific breeds of rabbits. In fact, sometimes what you get at a Pet Store is actually a mixed breed.

Man...if I could pull a Holland Lop out of a hat right now, I would drive it to you personally just to get you to stop asking about finding one!!!!!!!!
