Quick story,,, Lived in a wild kinda place. Birds would come in my kitchien if I left the door open a bird (sprrow or robin) would come in the house. The year before we lived at another house and a blackbird flew in. My Daughter died within a week of that.. I don't know what happened... she just stopped breathing overnight. But although I do not believe in this.. it is kind of odd for both of these things to occur .... I guess that is why it is a on going supersitition .

I always place bank notes with the Queens' head facing outwards and the right way up, never upside down or back to front.

I always fold a tea towel carefully before hanging it over the oven door handle, before going out.

I always wear a blue shirt on a Friday if I am working that day.

I am not superstitious because being superstitious is bad luck!

I wouldn't tempt fate by being superstitious!

I'm selectively superstitious. When I see one solitary magpie, I think 'what a load of rubbish', but when I see two magpies together, I think 'Yay, good times on the way!'...

i dont necessarily believe in all the superstitions, but i fear..they're power if they have any. its like taht line out of the usual suspects.

but i believe in not opening umberllas inside, not walking underneath ladders and that pennies with tails up can bring you bad luck.

I'm not, but I don't think you should walk under a ladder coz there's a chance you might get a hammer or pot of paint on your head.

I think it is bad luck to walk under a ladder. It also does not make good sense to do it sot that one I observe.
