I believe in soul mates not in the traditonal sense. I believe that my soul mate is an old friend of mine. He was my boyfriend when I was about 12 and we were on and off until the age of 17. I did not realize he was my soul mate until years later. We are just friends now, but I feel he knows me very well, especially since we don' t keep it touch often, I still feel like I had a bond with him that I have not had with anyone else. He is my soul mate.

No. You have to work hard at a relationship. It wont work just because you think you are "soul mates" and meant to be.
