The number 18 can be written as the sum of two prime numbers. Identify these two prime numbers.

I am guessing you mean prime factors.

2* 3 * 3 = 18

Therefore, 2 and 3 are two prime factors of 18. This is because both 2 and 3 are only divisible by themselves and 1.

Do you mean prime *factors* of 18?

18 = 2 x 3 x 3

The two prime number factors are 2 and 3.

A prime number is any number that is only divisible by 1 and itself. In this case, 1 and 5 are examples that are less than 18 which I can only guess is what you mean.

I believe that a prime number cannot be divided evenly. So the answer should be 11 and 7.
