Not really. But to be fair, I find it equally dated on a boy. I do love that you're asking about the traditional spelling, however. Nothing worse than seeing it "girlied-up" to Jordynne or something. Ick. ;)

Not particularly - it's gotten too popular, I think. It will sound very, very dated in a couple years (if it's doesn't already - I must know at least five female Jordans). If you want another 'tomboyish/modern' name, why not Riley or Kiley? Or Ivy, Lina, Evan, Caz, Cat, etc.

dont know if you are american, or british, but in the UK there is a 'glamour' model called jordan. married to peter andre. she looks disgusting and has huge fake breasts, so no , i would not name a child something associated with such a monstrosity. if u arent from the u, then its ok, not very original though.

Used to really love it, but feel its a bit dated now. And in the UK we have a famous glamour model using this name, so this has put me off for life!
Really like Dylan for a girl now though!
