Before I joined the Navy my roommate & I (we were both single guys then) had quite a menagerie: an 8.5-foot Boa Constrictor named Medusa, a Tarantula (I forget what we named her), 5 pirahnas, & a cat named Cinder. So yeah, I guess I miss having Medusa crawl all over me, curl up in my lap (seeking warmth from body heat) & showing her off to friends. She was quite affectionate as snakes go, and she wasn't slimy as a lot of people erroneously believe.
Thanks for asking Jenni, ... U brought back some very fond memories for me! Now where did that Tarantula run off to? (I sure wish I could remember her name)!!!

My snake is five feet long do you consider that big? I dont think it is, but some visitors to my house do! size...its a matter of opinion. I have been bitten recently by my snake for the first time in twenty one years, I dont blame him it was my fault I wasnt paying attention when I was feeding him......not a good idea.
I still like him though.

There is NOTHING, whatsoever, that is WRONG, with snakes, - provided that they are treated with the RESPECT, that ALL creatures deserve.
After ALL, the fact its, that, - snakes do NOT have hands to defend themselves, - so, they use what they DO have, - they BITE! It's the "NATURAL" way, that they catch FOOD, - and, it's ALSO, the way, that they DEFEND themselves, against PREDATORS, - the "BIGGEST" of which, is SUPPOSED to be the Planet's most "INTELLIGENT" inhabitant, - THAT is MANKIND. Mankind used to KILL to SURVIVE, - it's EXACTLY, the SAME for SNAKES!
So, if you were a SNAKE, - and your only "DEFENCE", against being KILLED, was to BITE, the person, who was TRYING to kill you, - you WOULD BITE, - WOULDN'T YOU?
PERSONALLY, speaking, I ADORE ALL snakes, - and, - a few YEARS ago, now, - was fortunate enough, to have the chance to be "DRAPED" in an INDIAN ROCK PYTHON, - an opportunity, that I grabbed, with BOTH HANDS, thanks, very much!

No I hate snakes ever since I was bitten by Rattle snake when I was very young..

i hate true snakes wether its big or small!!!
