I just watched the video from her show on Yahoo! before coming to Y!A. I've always seen Ellen Degeneres as being 'special' because she really does LOVE animals, and she is also extremely generous. I doubt that she would have been 'crying' on air, if it wasn't for the fact that the family she gave 'Iggy' to had two daughters who had already bonded with the puppy. I really do usually side with the 'rescue animal' people, but THIS TIME I think they were WRONG. Ellen Degeneres did 'make a mistake' but the rescue people did too ... they should have at least 'thoroughly investigated' the new family the puppy was with, and taken it ONLY if the home wasn't 'good' for the puppy. THAT was THEIR FAULT. Ellen Degeneres is simply asking for the girls to get their beloved puppy back ... and I doubt she'd do that if she didn't MEAN IT. I'm glad she 'cried' on national TV ... if more of the world was like her, this would be a FAR BETTER world to live in.

strong question. the information comments say that she become curiously crying because the animal rescue crew took away a dogs from a loving relatives. that is a heartrending image she paints. 2 toddlers heartbroken over dropping a homeless dogs that they had grown connected to. putting the tale of both toddlers aside for the on the spot, that is what got here about a million) ellen adopts domestic dog from rescue employer 2) domestic dog won't be able to get alongside ellen's cats 3) ellen chooses cats over domestic dog and aspects domestic dog away 4) rescue employer takes back domestic dog because Elle violated settlement. 5) curiously Ellen won't be able to convince the crew to go away the domestic dog with the recent adoptive relatives. 6) Ellen is going stay to inform the tale television and makes the remember public at the same time as weeping. So what we see the following is a case of a favourite television personality unfairly utilizing her status to coerce a company of strong status to do what she needs because she thinks that is ideal. no longer in basic terms does she attempt to pressure the undertaking by technique of creating an emotional attraction on television, she also insults and placed the employer in a foul gentle by technique of asserting that it's not a house and by no skill a persons'' relatives. an extremely low blow because the animal rescue employer purpose is to position the rescued animals in homes and famiies. The clause that Ellen violated has an extremely strong reason, that is a guard adversarial to those who're no longer extreme sufficient of their intentions to undertake an animal. curiously Ellen wasn't yet definite, she thinks she's strong sufficient to guage even if some different person is.

The dog out fit mutts and moms should close dooers. They did a great harm to the good others are doing. Ellen was right. who in there right mind would take a dog away from a loving family that had bonded with it and was happy only to put it back in a shelter. This is the stupidist thing I have ever heard about in quite awhile. Some one who would do this is not a dog love but a power monger. enforcing stupid rules that do not apply in this case. I for one would never use that service. All they do is find homes they do not keep dogs themselves. They are retarded.....Thank you ELLEN for your love of animals....and mankind.

I saw it on yahoo. I cried with her. I have to think some of the rescue places are a bit extreme. I know they have to fulfill a very hard place, and the work they do is amazing. But somethings are not black or white, there is gray areas in most things. I feel sorry for her too, she felt so bad for those children, and Iggy.

Oh, I think it's horrible what that adoption place did...I'll tell ya, give some people some authority and they really take it to the extreme...
This was an honest, honest mistake...and for the adoption agency to do that, well, that was a shame...I read the report on the yahoo page...
I truly do NOT think that Ellen would hurt a fly...
It's sad, really sad.

I just don't understand the animal agency because I feel if you're unable to take of an animal then you can give it to someone that can give it a better home, I thought. I feel if you purchase anything if you want to give it away it should be your business. I can't believe then they took it away from the family something isn't right about this, or we not getting the complete story.

Why was she crying? I love seeing her other shows but never watched her talk show.
Oh i did look at the clip. I think it was wrong for her to go public like that, since she was at fault. but now I think the organization will hopefully give in. After all she did pay for everything. i think since the dog was trained as a service dog, they figure it would be needed more for that than a family pet.

I didn't see the clip but I did see an article on Yahoo. I wanted to check it out but didn't have time to. I read the article though and my heart goes out to her. I can bet she had nothing but good intentions for the dog. They should give the dog back to her friends family.

That is so sad. They need to give the dog back to the kids or atleast let them adopt it. Ellen already paid $3000 for that dog so it is well paid for.
