I used to be quite the f@g hag when I lived in San Francisco in the late 1970s and early 1980s, but I've been living in St. Louis since February and don't know how to make friends in the gay community. There are some guys at the Ethical Society where I am a member that I think are probably gay, but I can't just ask them, can I? Any recommendations?

Get a copy of the Gay & Lesbian Yellow Pages or go to www.GLYP.com
I know there is a copy there and it will tell you all the G & Y organizations in St. L.
Might check to see if there is an MCC Church in the St. L area also

find out where the gay bars are . then hang out in nearby coffeehouses , restaurants and stores . or just join an activity group . they are listed in the gay papers .
