Lets say I need to find the breaking point of an irregular object,
say a bone. What Kind of Math/Sciences do I need to know to find it?

The determination of breaking point of materials is based on a scientific law called Hookes law. The breaking point is empiraclly determined by experimentation. It is a point beyond where the stress is no longer proportional to the elongation of a material.
