Poor kid. He'll be crying to mommy a lot during school.

I suppose anything could be a name as long as it is not offensive or vulgar. There was a couple in China a while back who wanted to name their son "@". No joke.

I'm not fond at all of the whole adjective-name thing. But maybe that's just since I don't like baby talk. There is no "Awww couldwa woodwa cutieeee!" with me. I'll say "Sweet Baby" or "Lovely Child" if I honestly think so.

Really, though, I can't fathom a young man graduating as Precious. "Okay, Precious, please step up to the stage!"

Poor, poor boy.

My neice just named her daughter Precious and has one named Blessing. I have never heard of a boy named that though.

I hope this is a fake question. I'd hate to think of anyone, especially a boy, named Precious. Sad.

I knew a girl named Precious...she was anything but!

I personally steer away from names like those, they put a label on people.

Poor boy. I guarentee he's going to be gay. Or socially oppressed. Or both.

Just kidding, as long as you love him for who he is, he'll be fine.

Precious shouldn't be anybody's name. It's an adjective, not a name.

Precious is not a name...they canuse it as one, but it's not. It kinda sounds ridiculous and I'm sorry I'm not trying to insult you or your brother, but it's not a nice name.

Really? Anything *can* be a name, but in my opinion that's a terrible name for anyone.. especially a boy!
