What was the most amount of money you had to pay the mechanic?And what was it for ?

My mom thinks that it's any Ford that has a lot of miles on it, like my 1995 Ford Taurus. We recently spent $760 on it after it died. After all, my mom says that Ford stands for Found On Road Dead! I guess it was a pretty nice and reliable car when it was newer, but it's got a lot of miles on it now.
