Something with a good beat that you can definately dance to! like Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance, things similar to those and throw in a few songs that arent fast-paced dancing songs but arent slow and boring either! Try Rock/Pop some metal but don't over-do it and mix in a few Country songs!

Something everyone can dance to. Maybe some old rock n roll. Johnny B Goode,The Twist,and Louie,Louie come to mind for me.

bands that people know.... and it depends on the age group. if its a younger audience then foo fighters, green day etc. with an older audience u cant go wrong with deep purple or acdc
