I think they would use it to throw their weight around more in the middle east, but that's it.

Has Pakistan ever used it on anyone (India)? no.

Even if they decided to attack the U.S., do they have the technology to deliver it to us?

Nuclear weapons are important to the world community at large and the spread of nuclear weapons is always dangerous. The most disturbing thing about the spread of them these days is the possibility of them falling into the hands of an extremist group; national states are more hesitant to use nuclear weapons than fringe elements.

I doubt that Iran will actually achieve nuclear weaponry, given the great opposition of involved states, not the least of which is America. Simply put, Iran cannot compare to the United States in economic, diplomatic, and military power, so the opposition of America to its developing nuclear weaponry pretty much settles the issue for them.

Just my opinion but I don't think the real threat is Iran using the bomb. It carries more weight for them to have it. If they ever used it other countries in the region and foreign nations would probably mount some kind or offensive against them. The real threat would come from Iran giving or selling the bomb to other rouge nations or terrorist groups that WOULD use it .

No they wont use it hopefully and if they do they'll probably start ww3 but that does not mean they cannot be trusted I think they are a overall trustworthy to have the bomb but in my opnion I think manufacturuing bombs are a waste of time I think no country should be allowed to have them including America, England etc. If you make a bomb you obviously intend on using it some time or another and therfore it causes other countries to get nervous and paranoid and develop their own weapons of mass destruction. Why can't all the countries in the world just forget about bombing and nuclear weapons and concetrate on things that matter like poverty in Africa if they spent the money that thay use on their major weapons on 3rd world countries poverty would have probably ended by now and the world would be a much better place free from wars and terrible things that cause millions to lose their life for unnecessary reasons

the first point is it is entirely hypothetical. if Iran has even designs develop the bomb- They have a right under international law to develop a civil nuclear program like Denmark, Romania Hollland etc has.
They have not violated any laws.
The question then on if they'd would use it seems a long stretch of the imagination. They would have no logical reason to and it would certainly mean retaliation -
so why believe the hype of the DC warmongers?

Of course they will If not on the United States directly on Israel or one of our allies That would cause everyone to get involved It would most likely be the last thing that they would ever do before their whole country became a vitrified slab of radioactive glass and when it cooled off , when all was said and done the other middle east countries could use it for a parking lot

No. The politicians, mullahs, and Ayatolla in Iran are not that dumb.

Use of 'the bomb' would result in their own destuction.

Anyone with half a brain knows that.

This issue is not important at all, to America. Iran poses no credible threat to the soverneighty of the US.

Did the US use it..?? Yes !!! Will Iran use it ? Quite possibly.
Like the US always does, they will say it is in their own defense.

I just had a look at some of the answers on this question

Most of them "shine" ignorance! It's frightening !
Have a look for yourself (thank god, America still has a few intelligent people such as yourself Serafim !).

Glenn Beck: I don't know. It really, it really, really bothered me because that's the problem. That's the problem in America is everyone is dismissing him. Everybody dismisses Iran because, oh, they can't do anything. I mean, listen to Ron Paul: That's crazy talk. Well, you are the king of crazy talk. So you'd know, Ron Paul. I mean, to dismiss these people, to dismiss their religiosity, to dismiss what they have been trying to do, what is set out in their constitution since 1979. These people are chess players. Yeah, those crazy buffoonish chess players. Before you know, they've cleaned your clock. They're ahead of you 14 steps. We've got to stop dismissing these people because no matter what Ron Paul says, they are a threat.

No state will ever use the bomb.

We said Pakistan would use it before they got it. We said India would use it before they got it. We said Russia would use it, we said...

And yet we're still the only people to have used it.

What's with the paranoia? When has Iran ever attacked anyone else? If anything, every nation in the world has reason to fear us. But no nation attacks us. Why not? Because we have the bomb. And that's why Iran wants it.
