Well we don't have a porch - just lots of grass. But I've got the bbq out there, a trampoline and a huge pear tree! LOL

Can you handle the TRUTH??!
Then I'll tell ya:
A BBQ pit
A seat with a gun-rest built in
An ice chest
A 5-gal bucket of golf balls
2 wooden bar stools
A couch
2 mounted deer heads above the couch
An end table at the end of the couch
2 cedar rocking chairs
2 mounted large-mouth bass above the chairs
A cedar table between the chairs
A fan on a stand
A trash can
An upright freezer full of venison
18 cats -- well, 12 cats coz one momma and 5 wee babies are in my mudroom coz she's nursing....
That's about it unless you wanna count the
spider who lives up in the corner of the roof out there, and the wee chihuahua-pomeranian mix that lives between the back porch and my living room..and who runs the whole operation around here.
Hey, what can I say??!
Living in the country, we gotta have a huge porch.....

I'm about 80% sure that Evilwitch6669 and Swanngranny live in my neighborhood. I don't have a back porch and my front porch is a parking lot. :(

We have a wooden deck that my hubby and my 11 yr old helped him build last year. (He was so proud, my little angel with that litlle leather tool belt !)
The only thing left on my deck is the BBQ grill, everything else has been put away because it's getting too cold to enjoy it !
Sad isn't it ?

Nothing, I live in an apartment, but if I did I would have the biggest grill ever, a nice table and chairs with an umbrella and a little fire pit to keep us warm in the fall!!

Along with stone, mud and animal parts, wood was one of the first materials worked by early humans. Microwear analysis of the Mousterian stone tools used by the Neanderthals show that many were used to work wood. The development of civilization was closely tied to the development of increasingly greater degrees of skill in working these materials.
