whats an interest of yours? be a Wii or a video game character (though that can get expensive depending)
Is there something you particularly like? A show that you could dress up as one of the characters. One of your friends dressing up as something and you want to be a couple? Into hockey, dress up as the Stanley Cup.

This kid in my class was a trash can a few years ago. His mom sewed him a garbage looking costume, then glued wrappers to it, like oreos, doritos and things like that. He also Had a hat that looked like the top of a garbage can. All you have to do is buy fabric and sew, the glue wrappers on. Happy Halloween!

I dressed my son in a green sweatsuit and took yellow poster paper (if you can only find white, color it) and cut out a large daisy shape with an opening in the center for his face. Then I cut large leaf shapes out of green construction paper and attached them to his hands. It was totally cute. He won first place!

wear white leggings, white tennis, long white t-shirt, white beanie with a piece of thin rope on top and be a tampon. I'm not trying to be a smart as*, I actually did this last year.

Shave your head smooth, and paint it like a pumpkin. Get a real pumpkin stem, and glue it to the top of your head.
