Can someone tell me how to get in touch with my local patent office, please?

Um, I would try Google? If you can figure out how to get a patent, let me know! I have several wonderful inventions, but patent instructions read like stereo instructions! I tried one of those places that are supposed to do it for you, but they want like $5,000 to do it! Funny thing is, they don't want to wait for your invention to sell to get their money. Wonder why that is (not!)?
I think my house is bugged, too. Every time I talk about one of my wonderful inventions, next thing I know, it appears on the store's shelves! Know the new George Foreman grill with the grill plates that are removable for easy cleaning? That was my idea years before George "thought" of it! He's not the only one bugging my house, either! Happens all the time! Wish I could get through the patent process just once before my idea was stolen, I'd make a million! Then I could stay home on the computer all the time! Good luck with yours!
