I mean seriously can't the media find anything more important? besides i wouldn't be suprised that it's nothing more than a publicity stunt anyway just to get people to feel sorry for her & watch her show.

I don't watch her show. She just wants star struck peopel to feel sorry for her over something that unfortunately many people have gone through but unlike her they don't have a forum to speak out about it.

It's not about liking her or not liking her it's about putting this news as if it's something of importance when it's not.

I don't care at all. I wish the media could find something to report except who's in rehab or who is screwing who.

I think it is an important story. Not because it happened to Ellen, or anyone else famous, but because it happened to "somebody". Ellen used her "media link" to share this issue with the general public, which I think is just fine. It brings up an important issue...if someone adopts a dog (or cat or whatever) and it does not work out, is it easier on the animal to go to another loving home or to go back to a shelter where it gets hardly any attention? I agree that the person adopting the dog in the first place should contact the shelter to tell them it isn't working for them, BUT if the person who adopted it has another loving family in mind the shelter should let the new loving family take they dog. The shelter people should NOT have ripped that dog out of his new home, they should have given the family with the two girls the option to adopt that dog on the spot. Isn't the shelter's job to find a loving home for this animal?

I've adopted all my animals from the shelter for the last 20 years and we all have to sign saying that if we don't keep the animal then we'll turn in back into the agency. It's to keep people from putting helpless animals into unsafe or unsuitable homes.
Why should she be exempt from the rules if she's a celebrity? It's for the animals' protection, to keep people from "dumping" unwanted pets on unsuitable homes. People who don't want an animal are often more interested in getting rid of their "problem" than insuring that the poor beast is truly getting a good home.
If the hairdresser and her kids want the dog, let them go down to the shelter and apply to adopt it themselves! If they really are fit and proper people to provide a suitable home, the agency will decide and not Ellen Degeneres.

Mutts and mothers Rescue did supply the hairdressers family contributors the possibility to undertake Iggy the ideal way. The criminal expert for Mutts and mothers became into on Fox information and he has emails asserting the hairdressers family contributors does not fill out the adoption application, and did no longer prefer to return residing house for the residing house circulate to to be carried out. They have been given the possibility to do it the ideal way by potential of Mutts and mothers, yet while you evaluate that they had the flexibility of Ellen DeGeneres at the back of them, they did no longer do what became into necessary to undertake Iggy, legally from M&M. If somebody yanked you around like that, and does not follow technique whilst given the possibility to accomplish that, i'm particular you're able to have carried out precisely what Mutts and mothers did, and take the dogs lower back.

She's an Emmy winner. I don't think she needs the publicity. Maybe it's a slow news day. What difference does it make? If you don't like her, don't watch the show. I love Ellen and her show! And I hope she gets the dog back, too!

If something bad happened to me personally and I had a public forum such as a talk show to air my grievances, hell yes I would.
Besides, the reason she was so upset was not that she no longer had the dog, but that it was taken away from two children.

She is very concerned for the dog and for how upset those little girls probably are. I think it may have just happened prior to her going on. I can't imagine not using whatever forum I could to save a dog or a person that could not save themselves.

I agree! How about some news about our soldiers other than the death toll? All the good things people are doing everyday to help those in need?? I personally could care less about all these "celebrities" who have a drug & alcohol problem.

At least she admitted she did wrong, and you can clearly tell she was hurt over the fact thoughs girls got the dog taken away, it's not like shes asking for sympathy on her part, shes worried about the dog and the 2 girls.
