Giggs definitely..If kaka plays the way he's playing at the minute for a good few more years then you could compare them!

Giggs was at the top of his game for over 10 years easily, and even now some people say his getting on, but theres no one i'd rather have than him, he's scored over 140 goals for man utd and has over double that total for his assists...which proves on paper too what an amazing team player he's been.
Only international success has eluded him, which is very sad, as if he'd have played for england, not only would he have solved the problem down the left wing we had a few years ago but he would have got more credit for being one of the worlds best players!

Kaka has still got a lot to prove, though he's still young and seems like a great player with a sensible head on his shoulders and he's got a better strike than giggs.......but thats all im willing to put in his favour for now as giggs is generally over the years the better player

For the past few games Ac milan has been playing shockingly Kaka included, so right now giggs at his peak is better, but even as a MAN UTD fan i have to say that kaka has the ability to control a match and to create results by himself, where as Giggs has amazing skills and is still a great player i dont think he had the same ability in that way.

Comparing a player who made his mark in the game as one of the best left wingers (if not the best) in the world with someone who would soon be announced as best footballer in the world, for the year, it doesn't really do any justice to them both.
They playing styles are totally different, since they both playing in different positions. Giggs, at his peak, can easily outrun any defenders dare enough to close him down, and with his ball controlling skills, he easily make a child out of any defenders guarding him. The game that probably immortalised his name, The F.A. Cup replay match against Arsenal, that's probably the pinnacle of his career, his goal easily is one of the goals of the century.
Kaka, on the other hand, is a developing gem. He possessed frightening vision and calmness that pretty rare with Brazilians midfielder nowadays. You don't see Kaka does much of the samba style football, but his playmaking ability pretty much can dictate and change the flow of a game.
As for better player, I would have to say Giggs, for what he had done and achieved as a player throughout his career. Kaka still has plenty of time to develop, and pretty sure when Kaka reach his peak, he will stand among the best footballers of all time.

I'd say Ryan Giggs and not because of any bias but because when Giggsy was at his peak he could beat 3,4,5 players run over half of the length of the pitch and put the ball in the back of the net.
Kaka is an awesome player but I don't see him doing what Giggsy used to do .

Though MU makes me puke,I'll have to admit that Giggs is way better than Kaka is at his peak.

Because there is no other club like Manchester United. The pasture is not always greener on the other side. And would Ryan Giggs still be playing fantastically at his current age at another club? I highly doubt it.
