What is a reason why someone would climb a TREE?

to rescue a cat
to retrieve a kite or frisbee
to enjoy the view
to get his/her bearings after becoming lost
to return a baby birdy to its nest (awwwww)
to build a treehouse
to pick fruit
to string Christmas lights or those lights used for all occasions
to prune the tree

To get to the beehive to get some honey?
To get the coconuts, bananas, apples, etc?
To escape the clutches of an angry Grizzly Bear?
To set up a great hunting spot for the afternoon?
To escape surging flood waters?
To climb into somebody's 2nd floor bedroom window?

Climbing trees is usually not very easy. There usually has to be a bit of "incentive" involved. (ie..,staying alive)

One time I climbed up a tree while I was waiting on the bus! I sat on one of the tree branches!

To see further? Or maybe for deer hunting. Perhaps there is a nest with chicks they'd like to see, or the person got their kite or something caught and must climb it to get it. Could be for pruning purposes, or even to get an apple. There are lots of reasons. :)
