You won't accept US money? Our boys are overseas dying for America and you won't accept our currency.

I will accept any money that is minted by the United States. If you chose not to, then you better not accept ANY cash money. If you discriminate against that particular coin, you will be discriminating against someone because of their religion (Or lack thereof). As a result you shall be committing a crime and may be tried in a Federal court for Discrimination.
Don't be stupid!

Keeping our history huh? You do realize that our money did not have "In Imaginary friend we trust" Until 1864. A hole 88 years after we became a nation. So if you are interested in keeping our history we would go back to that. And it wasn't our national motto until 1956.
My suggestion would be that you learned some actual history of this nation.

Why not? Why is this an issue?
There are gazillions of dollars out there with that phrase. They're used to trade guns that kill people, to support the invasion of Iraq, intervention in Afghanistan, payoff to corrupt politicians, logistics for terrorist actions, etc, etc.
The phrase doesn't seem to make any difference.
It's not true anyway, so it's kind of a contradiction because thou shal not lie. Unless you clearly specify who's "we". Like "we, the ones who trust in god, trust in god", but it doesn't make sense.
Is god going to vanish if not mentioned in currency? Is your faith that weak?
I remember Jesus pointing to a coin with the face of Caesar and saying "give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar". Maybe your point is that if the currency refers to god we should give it all to him... well, the vatican I guess...
I can see that you, as a believer, want to worship god. But it seems odd (to me) that from all the possible ways to do that you are embracing currency as THE one. After all, money is the root of all evil. The root of all evil trust in god? Or is the trust in god the root of all evil?
Let's go to the real root of your outrage. You think (or feel) that this is evidence that people don't trust god anymore. Let's say that you're right, what difference does it make? Do you think people believed in god because it was said in the currency?
And what if you're wrong and people do believe in god, what do you need to write it in the currency for?
It doesn't matter which crazy point of view you choose, it doesn't make sense, it's not an issue.

No, you are stupid. Well I guess if you want to just not make money thats a sweet idea. Or if you are dumb enough to think that the US was founded on christianity, it would be a great feel-good idea. In god we trust was only added during the McCarthy Era, when the atheist soviets scared everyone. And the 11th Article of the Treaty of Tripoli states "The United States is not founded on Christianity"

No, I will not join your boycott. I do have a problem with the U.S. Dollar though, my problem is that it is not backed by any precious metal such as gold or silver. This is a cause of inflation.

Why? What is the reason for your being so adamant about an old phrase? Times are a-changing, guy, you must be a diehard. Life can be difficult that way.

Good idea, but what good would it do, a top runner for President has already said, we will be using different money, and she will be taking things from us for our own common good. Actually it is part of the socialism plan, which I am totally against.

No. Actually, I'd like to see "In Bernanke We Trust" stamped on every new dollar, as that would more accurately describe the U.S. dollar at this point in history.
