I am a senior in high school and I am surprising my brother with a trip to disneyland. My parents know already because I had to tell them to make sure they could get the time off. I have asked this before and gotten some good ideas but I want something more. I can't not tell him because he knows the route to disneyland by heart and would know automatically where we were going. He is a HUGE disney freak...so any suggestions????

P.S. Thanks!!!

get him a peace of personalized art with either his name or him in the art from a disney animator. if you cant get it at disneyland, you can advertise in the recycler for free or contact the guy that runs the la comic show at the shrine. the idea of him in pictures palling with pluto or donald will be the bomb.

Well there isn't much you can do if he knows the way to Disneyland. If it was me in the situation, I would go onto mapquest.com and find an alternate route to the park. This way, he won't know where you are going and he will be totally confused. When you are almost at the park, you can tell him to lay down on the seat or blindfold him or something. Once you get there don't take the blindfold off until he is out of the car and is staring straight at the entrance to the park. Get a camera ready and take a picture of his reaction when he opens his eyes.

I hope this helps you out a bit. Other than this I don't know what else you can do.

Try it out! It might work!

I would blind fold him and take him on back roads (if you know them LOL) to get to Anahiem...plus make sure you have music really loud so he doesnt hear you paying the attendant for the parking....i know its not like it used to be with the big entrance sign and the parking lot right in front of the park...now you have to take a tram from the parking structure...just let the parking attendant know that its a surprise...but once you get out of the car he may know but to see his face would be great! Have fun and may see you there! I am the girl with a whole bunch of kids that loves disneyland and can never get enough of it :) what a sweet brother you are :) good for you :)

okay, blindfold.... good idea... add headphones so that he can't hear what is going on... then take the long way there. make it so that it seems you are going somewhere else. if the drive takes 30 minutes, take almost an hour. then when you get there, you can do two things. let him pick whatever he wants to do. or make a list of rides but instead of calling the ride by its name, have a question about the ride. when he figures it out, you can go on the ride.

I suggest that you take a different route towards Disney land and then when you arrive there pass it so i wont look like you r go in there then he will lose int erst and when you pull up there he will be surprised.
