The worst -- and most ridiculous sounding -- I've personally come across was Jermanydragonfire Jayden Jordan "Lastname."

And of course there are the random word names (I heard "Elegant" last night ... didn't catch the spelling, though LOL), words misspelled backwards (Neveah is NOT "Heaven spelled backwards" ROFL) and purposeful misspellings that couldn't possibly be said the way the parents insist, such as MaKinzai for Mackenzie (wouldn't that be MAH-kin-zie?) or Aadann for Aidan (AHD-ann, anyone?). So ridiculous, they're baffling.

I hate Nevaeh and some variant of Michaela, because Nevaeh is entirely too juvenille and most parents of a poor little Michaela butcher the name terribly so in the end, the name looks something like "Mickeeala" or "Mickala" or "Mickaayle". ...Or even "Michalla".

Disgusting.

Horrifying.

I know a kid named Raistlin. That's an evil character from the Dragonlance book series by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman.

Nevaeh is the most ridiculous "name"

It's funny because most people spell it Neveah which kind of defeats the purpose of "heaven spelled backwards"

When I was in the army we had a sargeant "****" in our platoon. That was really his last name. I can only imagine what going through basic training must have been like for him with a last name like that.

My sister went to school with a girl named Sundy Mundy. My aunt, who works in a hospital, said that a baby born there was named "Nimrod" by his mother. That should be considered child abuse!

I knew a girl called LaTrinn. I honestly don't know what her parents were thinking, and I didn't have the guts to ask her if she knew what a latrine was.
