I am in musical theater and an asignment is to perform a duet with your partner. My parter is a girl. We are both 14 and need help and suggestions. I would rather not do "Angel of Music" from Phantom Of The Opera because another group is doing it. I am open for suggestions. Also if I absalutly have to I can do one from a Disney Move. Please I need help! (I am a saprano and I think my friend is an alto but I am not sure.)
Thank you so much for your help.

I would not recommend "Take Me Or Leave Me" from Rent (no offense toward you or your friend, but I think you're both a little too young for the very adult themes that the song implies). However, "Loathing" from Wicked would be a great song.

I would also recommend "Friendship" from Anything Goes (for lyrics, see http://www.stlyrics.com/lyrics/anythinggoes/friendship.htm ). This is a GREAT song, even if it is a little bit older (1940s) - you won't have to worry about someone doing the same song.

As Glory said, Wicked has some great songs. 'For Good' would be absolutely perfect.
