Just go into Musical Theater.
No matter what acting job you get singing can always help. Especially if you do voice overs.

It is probably easier to be a singer. What you have to do is ask which am I better at? And do that. I think you should convince your parents that you should be a singer or an actor and that you should take all the classes in school related to those things, be in all the plays and music events, tale private voice lessons, take professional acting classes, and maybe some dance. Study all this stuff for about three years and lets see at that point if you are any good at any of it.

none you will probably end up in McDonalds like the rest of them asking will that be all but the best part is you can handle the money so it is just like being an actress or an singer but you are surrounded by greasy foods and you will probabaly get fired from eating the fries!

Join theatre and choir.
The high school that I went to and eventually worked for had a great Fine Arts Department. I worked there for 7 years. The band, choir, theatre and dance departments all worked together. We had kids that were just amazing. Allot of them have moved on to do professional theatre whether acting or stage managing or a little of both.

Almost impossible to succeed at either at the level you are probably thinking about. If you don't have a passion for one or the other you should just forget it. You need a huge amount of drive for both.

Go down to L.A. because they'rs lots of open auditions, and if you have a song ready, you probably go to nearby recording studio and get a record deal
