With winter approaching, i was looking for suggestions for winter activities. It could be indoor or outdoor. Some things that came to my mind are skying, snow shoeing. Also activities like playing pool, bowling, reading books.

I was looking for more things that we can do when the weather is not great for hiking or going to the beach, camping etc.

please do help me with suggestions that will help me get out of the boredom of winter

Indoor: Have a weekly poker night, or get together with a bunch of friends and rent a movie once a week, have a dinner and a movie night with your bf, try making different types of dinners - ones you wouldn't normally make, enroll in a pottery class, take dance lessons, start working out at a gym, etc........ theres a bunch to do.
Outdoor: snowboarding, skiing, snowmobiling, make a snowman, make a snowfort, have a snowball war, go ice skating.......

Crafts are one of the greatest things for boredom from collecting things to making things from clay or whatever. Take a class at a local craft store or recreation center. And you can make all kinds of things to give for Christmas or other special events like birthdays.

Why can't you go to the beach in the winter? Bundle up and look for items on the beach that are more common in winter weather. Then take those things for a craft project.

Cooking is a great thing for boredom. Take a cooking class in pastry or one in casseroles. Then invite friends over to sample your hard work.

Volunteering is a very wonderful year-round way to break the boredom. Helping others is very rewarding regardless of your age. You can volunteer at a local library, be a doset at a play, Special Olympics or Boys/Girls Club, or even a Big Brother-Sister or CASA (juvenile court volunteer).
