Would chocolate brown tights be too much brown?

I'd say cream to keep a balance in colors personally, but one thing to look at is the flow of the outfit. If you add cream, will you look chunked into pieces. Depending on how the skirt matches the shoes, it can easily not seem that way. Try them both on, and see which has the best flow. The better the flow of the outfit, the thinner you seem also.
But if you just want a straight answer without comparing, I'd bet cream unless you find another cream accessory.

Yeah that would be too much brown and since your boots and skirt is right in between your tights try to go for a contrast of color like a seer black or even a cream/ off white tights would be cute!!

Maybe chocolate brown, but yeah probably too much brown. Creamy white tights would be ok, but it would be a simple plain outfit. Colorful tights are in style this fall/winter, so play up this outfit and give it some spice!!! Maybe bright red, pink, or turquiouse tights from Urban Outfitters would be great!

I think so. I would go with something like bone white color. Right in the middle of brown and white would look perfect with what your describing! Hope my advice worked and you find the color tights!

hmm i would have to say that i think that would probably be too much brown. Do you need to wear coloured tights at all - how about just tan coloured?

Yeah, just a bit. Maybe some black opaques for some contrast would look quite good.
