I want to know of any Australian or British bands. I don't want like hard rock or metal. Just indie, alternative, folk, pop, rock, stuff like that.

The Irish boys band Westlife has some good stuff-not exactly British, but maybe close enough...:-)

Hmmm.......I would suggest Carus - his music is more like folkie/reggae-ish. Quite an unique sound as I've been to several gigs of his. He sings solo (as Carus Thompson or just Carus) and also with his band - Carus and the True Believers. But don't give up listening the first time!! I particularly like "Broken Song" and "This Time". :)

As for the Aussies, I like the Mess Hall.
