I would sit her down and ask her to brace herself for what you're about to tell her. I think it would be best if you both come up with strategies together on how to deal with the situation. Afterall, you're only 14 and still can't do many things without her... drive to the doctors, get an abortion without her knowing... Your mom was pregnant with you before, so she knows how to take care of a baby better than anyone you know...

Well I was 16 when I got pregnant and I did not have to drop out of school. I was put on home schooling for about 4 months and then went back to school and graduated with my class. My daughter is now 6 yrs old and i would never change anything in the world for her. It will be hard I have been working full time since I have been 18 and would not change anything about my life. Having a child is an amazing thing. Tell her your sorry and that you do love her and you would really like her help. Dont foget there is alot of help out there through your state AKA Catholic Charities, WIC and alot of churches that will herlp with supplies for the baby. Your not alone in this. You can do it you just have to belive in yourself and not let anyone tell you different I did it and I am a very successfull 24 year old and very proud of my self. i had to tell my mom when i was 16 and i just kept hinting at it for a few weeks talking about when your pregnant are your boobs sore and then she'd say yes and i'd say my boobs are really sore...and kinda just hint that way..but she never asked me for like 3 or 4 weeks and then one day i guess the puzzle peices fit together and she asked me if i was pregnant and at first i said no and then i cried and said id idnt know and she asked if we had sex and i lied and just said once. lol but she got the picture my other friend who was pregnant she left a postive pregnancy test on the table and wrote on the box mom i'm sorry and then went to school..even tho her mom got up and came and picked her up that day at least she had a little while to cool off before she got to school. Anyways just do it how you feel write her a letter whatever you think is best. Goodluck to you.

x chasing: that is a awful thing to say and NOT true!
Sweetie it will be hard,but with help from your family you can get threw it! Just tell your mom(I know you dread it) but, get it over with so you don't have to frett any more! It's not good for you or the baby. I was young also when I had my son.He is 18 now...I don't regret it at all! It is not easy but,you will be fine.

just sit her down and say mum im pregnant and i need you to be understanding and support me what ever i decide to too. it may be hard for you mum to take in at first and yes she may be a little upset but she as the right to know sweetie. im sure she will be understanding best of luck

Its scary but it has to happen, not only for your well being but the well being of the baby if you chose to continue the pregnancy.

Your age has no bearing on the fact that you are pregnant. Tell her the truth in a respectful and loving manner. The more mature you behave when telling her, the better she will react. I doubt she will react well, but it will be better if you keep your cool.

Just understand before you tell her that she is probably going to freak out. So just be prepared to handle that, cause its almost inevitable. Try not to get mad when she freaks out just realize what you are telling her is huge. Hopefully she will be understanding to you but you should try to be understanding to her as well. Good luck
