Your school is violating a LOT of special ed laws here.

1) special ed children by law are suppose to be in a regular ed class. If child doesn't improve, THEN teh child is moved to sped class.

2)These kids are suppose to be taught by a special ed teacher in the reg ed class and NOT by a regular ed teacher. The regular ed teacher is not qualified or trained to teach in the way a sped kid needs.

3)If the teacher is not following anything that is suppose to be done on IEP plan, they are violating federal special ed IDEA law.

4) Teachers do not know how to teach the sped kids, so they give the sped kids grades that will show the sped kid is failing and that they can NOT improve in reg ed class and they are moved to a sped class because --

a. it is the teachers fault and NOT the childs fault for failing
b. the reg ed teacher just wants to get rid of the sped kid.

5) Lots of reg ed teachers make the sped kids grades higher than they really are because they want to show there is proof the child is improving so the school can get the kid out of special ed cause they really don't want to help (as you are now experiencing)

6) The teacher is violating the schools code of conduct for teachers policy by screaming at the kids and rude comments.

7) The teachers are suppose to KNOW there is a special ed kid in their class. What morons!!

8) The teacher is not suppose to send a sped kid to resource class just because they got a wrong answer.

9)They ONLY way a sped kid goes to resource class at all is if this is written into his IEP plan that he is suppose to be in resource class. BUT, the sped kid is suppose to be in resource class ALL THE TIME and not just when the teacher is tired of fooling with you.

The school is not going to listen to you. You have to get your parents involved. They are the ones with legal rights here.

Print my message here out, show it to your parents. Tell them to write a letter to district special ed director, stating everything that has happened and also include everything I wrote above.

Also add in the letter that the school is violating federal special ed law IDEA and if it continues they will file state complaints and take legal action.

yes, you should report him. He is not allowed to discriminate against you by choosing to NOT answer your questions. You probably should ask to be removed from the class. This isn't college. This is high school. They should an IEP to see what your needs are and help meet them with appropriate classes and teachers willing to do the work.
Talk to your guidance counsellor, principal, and school psychologist. This is wrong and you should not be treated like this.
I hope this helps. Not following your IEP is illegal. The IEP is binding contract. the Signatures on it by school staff mean they intend to follow it and abide by what's written in it. Tell your parents.
I'm sorry to hear you're being treated so harshly by such a cruel teacher.

report his a s s !!! he should not discuss your IEP in front of the classroom. have your mom to request ARD meeting to take you out of that class. you don't need to be in that classroom with a teacher that is (a.h.). both of my sons have an IEP. i call each teacher. to make sure if they have gone over my sons IEP. if any teacher did that to my sons. he won't be teaching. i would type a letter. one to the school district, principle, the state board and one for his file. and keep a copy for your file. you can have ARD meeting anytime of the year. have your mom to do it ASAP. all of my sons teachers are wonderful. we keep in touch.
