I've had about 20 something dogs including pups as a kid...guess that makes me a dog lover.

cats won't run around the yard and play with you as fun as dogs are - but cats don't need the constant attention and training that dogs take - you pick - they both live about the same length of time - dogs come when you call them too and will let you know if someone is at the door if you know what i mean -

I love both - and have both, but my dogs have the same personality every day. Unfortunately the cat decides which way the day is going for him & anyone around him. By the way, they DON'T get along. Good luck choosing.
