I know I'm going to get chastised for this one, but i've braced myself for wading through the immaturity that might come.. Anyway:
I am a college junior and have an elective class on Human Behavior. For the particular project that I am asking for your help on I am doing 5 seperate sexualtiy tests from a broad range of men and women, in age ranges all the way from 14-65.
That said - This is a very serious question, just simply asking if you shave your private area - Shaven completely, partially (just bottom, just top), trimmed, completely un-touched, or if you do something strange that maybe i've never heard of, i'd like to hear about that too!

I'm 23 if you need age specific data for your class, and I shave mine, completely, not for any specific reason other than I think body hair is gross, not that I have anything against women who's don't shave it, it's just not hair I want. Hope that helps. :3 Good luck w/ your project.

Did you need ages on the responses? You didn't ask.
Anyway, I'm 37 and I trim it. Really short (using clippers.) I would shave, but that itches too bad the next day and ingrown hairs are bad news.
Reason (if it matters) is totally not sexual. It's for hygenic reasons, same as armpits. Hair traps sweat and smells, and especially when you live in hot central Texas, that's not a welcome state of affairs.

i'm an entire shaver. i think that that's purifier and there is way less possibility of having some thing if there is not any hair down there. i think of it in common terms a decision of the guy what they do and how they chave in the event that they do. I artwork in a hospital and a super form of the females I see a minimum of shave a number of it.

I shave the top and trim the rest to almost bare.

I switch it up between trimmed and completely bare. I like to do different designs i guess it all depends on how i feel that day... but i deffinately shave! who wants a bush!

Yes, it's totally shaved. And you can buy in beauty supply stores little templates when you wax so you can have a lightning bolt, or a pair of lips, or a star!

I used to trim, but now I use depilatory cream. I have to be REALLY careful though. I usually just trim the leftover hairs.

i heard of a lot of girl shaving down there. Trimming is better to keep it in shape.Some women just let it grow.
