Deja Vu is not already seen, there is a subtle difference as it is the "illusion" of already seen/experienced

Psychology. The illusion of having already experienced something actually being experienced for the first time.

There is no exact word for Deja Vu in english which is why we use the french.

Deja Vu means a recurring feeling. the feeling of you've been there before. something you've experienced or known of before it occured in the moment.
