...having the perfect answer to a question and taking the time to write it down only to have someone else beat you to it?

You are so correct. I feel so proud of myself composing a brilliant answer. Then I hit the send button and discover four or five people getting the same answer, and some of them doing it better. Or worse a lot better. With great ideas I didn't think of.
But what I really hate is correctly and honestly answering a question and having the questioner award a joke answer the prize. Of course points are utterly meaningless, but losing to a bad joke is still seriously annoying.

could be worse......what if you got 45 thumbs down for your answer...... thats painful.....J/K...... when I pick answers I pick short good ones the more someone writes the less interested I am in reading a novel.
