when you had a baby? My partners brother has always been dead set against kids. He mocked us when I was pregnant and said we were mad to have a baby. Since Serry was born he has taken such an avid interest in her Im amazed. He does it quietly but keeps popping up, fighting for a cuddle when we are at her grandads house. He even drove over 2 hours to drop a birthday card off to my partner when he could have easily put it into the post. Im sure it was just to see her. I think its lovely and sweet.

Yes, my own father. Haha
He was a wonderful daddy to me, but I had never seen him with a baby. He's a natural. He can sit with a crying, fussy baby forever and it doesn't bother him at all. He just patiently rocks and holds them until they are soothed or lulled to sleep.
He also has a funny cozy little voice that he uses just for babies.

My father in law (to be) was deadset against us having a baby because my fiance had hurt his back and could not work around that time. He felt it was the wrong time and wouldn't even talk to me. When my son came into the world, he wouldn't hold him for the first two months. Finally, he came around and held him.
My son is now two years old and he and his "papas" (as my son calls him) love each other so much and his grandpa spoils the heck out of him. He's proud to show off his grandson whenever he gets the chance. And we have a good relationship now, as well.

Yes! I haven't had my baby yet but my Dad has always told me to never have children. I took his advise for a long time...not getting pregnant until now...I am almost 28 and have been with my husband for 13 years (married for 8). We just finally wanted a family.
My Dad is probably now the most excitied memeber of my family. He wants ultrasound pictures and everything, to hang up at his work. He is bragging to everyone that he is going to be a Grandpa...I don't know who that man is or where he took my Dad, but it is so nice to see him so happy about it! :)

My Dad!!! He was always working when I was a child so we were never close. Our 14 month old has really showed a new side of him and it's so awesome. I love seeing my Dad like this. Our son has brought our family closer! It wasn't planned either...but now i believe that everything happens for a reason.
