No, it's the unequal "justice" that treats the criminals differently that upsets me.
If an illegal commits a crime here, he's slapped on the wrist, goes out and finds a new ID and is never held accountable.

Actually, I think it does upset me more. I sat here thinking about it, saying to myself that "no matter the crime, I feel the same", and as I started really thinking about it, I realized that I actually do hold more intense feelings against the foreigner.

Just being honest with myself and all of you....

So, my answer is now, YES ! I'm more upset when a crime is committed by a foreigner in my homeland.

First of all, crime at all upsets me. As far as a citizen or a foreigner, if you do the crime, do the time! I am not happy about other countries opening their jails and sending them to us if that's the case..GEEZ, we have enough criminal activity here already.. Who needs the worst coming in from elsewhere??! We need to go back to the QUOTA System! That's the only way my grandfather got here from Scotland.

Nope, if they commit the same crime it's equally upsetting.

Now, if you're talking about an illegal immigrant, then it is more upsetting because they have committed multiple crimes.

Yes, because they likely will not be held accountable. Several of my acquaintances have been hit by illegal immigrants in cars with no drivers license and the police basically said there's nothing they can do, leaving the victim to pay for the damage out of their own wallet and the illegal still out driving around.

not so much the fact he committed a crime, but that he will get off easily or harder because he is foreign

If someone steals my wallet, I really don't care where he came from. I want my wallet back, and I want him in jail.
