The best website I have found is http://www.w3schools.com/html/
This website gives a great step by step process for creating HTML pages. In addition ASP code is also included when you are ready to move on.
Good Luck!

Don't download anything that will make your websites for you like DreamWeaver or Visual Studio Express. You won't learn anything from that and they add alot of extra code that increases page size and lowers bandwidth availability.

I've been designing websites since I was about 13 and now at 20, I have a side business doing it. Use good ol fashioned notepad and here is the site that helped me alot when I first started out.

Try downloading Visual Studio Express. It has easy-to-use drag-and-drop tools to automatically create HTML for you.

The best way is to upload your pictures etc. to photobucket and an html code will be there for you to add to your website.
Choose the html code for comments and web pages i think it is the third one down under your picture.
Photobucket is free so just create your account and begin uplaoding.
Have Fun
