It just seems that he has a hidden talent for accidentally scoring on his own net. Last night only adds one more of these incidents to the long list...

It's happened a lot of times before - usually where the puck bounces/deflects off a player and goes into their net.
Yes, it happened to Phillips last season in the playoffs, BUT the difference is that the puck got knocked off Phillips skate by Emery's pad -- horrible communication between the two of them. McCabe physically shot (follow through and everything) towards his own net. He was easily trying to clear the puck - doesn't look like he meant to shoot it in thinking it was the Sabres net, just a complete brain freeze.

If I played for the Leafs, I'd strangle that guy. He almost scored on Raycroft at the end of the 3rd and the game winning overtime goal. I mean....can you get a hat trick against your own team.
Like I said before, not a huge Leafs fan, but I know McCabe woke up this morning, knowing that he has lost respect. I know he's not the only one that has done that, but he actually moved his stick, it wasn't even a deflection.

his attempt was to clear the puck or put it behind the net but it "accidently" went in. like he didn't know that the net was there. or perhaps that was an accident too. maybe i should teach him how to clear the puck!! & its not the first time he has made mistakeS. i mean ok so you make a mistake once. its alright. twice.. i wouldn't mind. 3rd time...i will let it slip. but omg friggen 100th time...geez!!
the big buck, you gotta blame on JFJ. i mean how stupid are you?? giving ur "top" 2 defence big bucks. & giving your #1 defence nothing compare to that. my little sister is not that stupid & she's only 11.maybe he was on crack when he signed McCabe....& Kubina.
arrrgg..so now what is your question??..oh ya well if there was a record, i bet McCabe will hold the #1 place.....to 10.
P.S. you know because he scored the OT winner for Buffalo yesterday, i think us Leafs fans are seeing his every mistake rather than we would have in the other games. it seems like everything is his fault right now.

lol i'm a Leafs fan and that i ought to assert, McCabe has looked brutal this 365 days, he's the worst defenseman for Toronto so some distance. i imagine he scored on Raycroft in OT reason he couldnt score on the different crew, so he in basic terms suggested "**** that i pick a objective", so he placed it in his personal internet, lol

there were actually two incidents, in the 3rd he almost scored on his own net again, just he wasnt as lucky. he shud be traded for a new hockey stick or at leaast a water bottle

CHRIS PHILIPPS ON MY BELOVED SENS!!! he like scored 2 goals in the playoffs!! If only he scored them on the opponent!!!
