My parents! Happily married for 40 years, with very lively political discussions around the dinner table!
And they raised my sister and me to be open minded and respectful of people with differing views. I grew up conservative, she grew up liberal, and we are best friends, so it must have worked! ;-)

My neighbors across the street? One is a retired Baptist preacher who is totally Republican and his wife is what she called herself as a Reddog Democrat. I think that's the term she used. Maybe it's Blue Dog, anyway, she votes straight Demo ticket in every election, but the two of them seem to get along quite well with each other. Sweet old couple!

Apparently Ann Coulter is dating some big time lib and then there is Matlin and Carville. Ann is irrational and Carville is a certified nut so if they can find opposites that will stick with them then it is possible for the rest of us.
