-3 = 18t (multiply both sides of the equation by 2t)

t = -3/18 (divide both sides by 18)

t = -1/6 (simplify the fraction)

first multiple each side by the denominator 2t

-3 = 9(2t)

-3 = 18t

now divide each side by 18 to get t alone

-3/18 = t

-1/6 = t

(2/3)-3/2t=9(2/3)
-t= 6
t=-6
