I know more than the average person about football, and I want to become a coach, its a goal I want to achieve within 6 years. I'm only 23 years old. Maybe 10-14 year olds, before the high school level.

start by being an assistant coach for a local city league where you live

be there - be patient - be consistent - be fair

First of all. He cannot teach anywhere without being certified. Second, you have to have a bachelor's to teach, so, community college does not cut it. Have him apply at different universities and see what happens. As for you, I suggest calling a school, elementary, middle, or high, depending on what you want, and ask if you can sit in on a classroom. They get that a lot. Just tell them you are thinking of becoming a teacher. Your bf might want to do the same. And, you usually need experience with kids to get into a U anyway. Teaching is awesome! But it takes certain people to do it. It is both an art and a science.

you may want to buy BACKYARD DRILLS. Its a coaching video for about $20 by Coach Bill Parcells
