They were made back in the 70's and maybe some in the 80's. They are not worth much. You can find a bunch of them on Ebay that never even get bids. It does not take too much effort to find them being sold in garage sales for 25 cents apiece.
Most of the Avon collectable stuff did not turn out to be worth much. I have one of the Avon Chess Sets. It is in great condition with the board. I was told that it was worth a fortune but I went on Ebay and found that they were not selling. I even found one that had a starting bid of $10 and got no bids. I keep it because I like it though.
Maybe one day when the stuff starts to become a bit more rare it will be worth something. I am not holding my breath though.

Sometimes they are. Usually to collectors of Old Avon bottles. Hang on to them or sell them on e-bay to the highest bidder.
