Why is the U.S. saving Israel?

In 1947, shortly after the United States dropped the bomb and took control of the world's resources, we decided we needed a permanent military base located in the Middle East, where the most valuable and necessary of all resources was located with most abundance.
And so we allowed the state of Israel to be formed, and filled it with our allies, and donated $2 billion worth of military aid to them every year so that they could keep the locals in-line.
We have a similar relationship with the dictatorship in Saudi Arabia and the Oligarchy in Egypt.

How do you figure we are saving Israel? Israel is doing just fine. Every time the fruit cakes tried to take on Israel, they got their butts kicked. They needed no saving. They are a good friend, not a step child. The Palestinians are lucky Israel has such an aversion to genocide or they would be long gone.

Because the USA helped formed Israel in the first place. Also look at the number of Jewish people in congress and the Senate. This is why we will never stop helping Israel: even when we know their wrong.
