It is intelligent to be ready. you CAN consume fruit if you'll peel it, then wash your fingers, then consume it, or soak it for 20 mins n water with the purifying drops in it. At any grocery retailer within the produce dept, they promote small bottles of purifing drops for fruit and vegetables. You installed one drop for each and every qt. of water and soak the vegetables within the water to kill the micro organism. There are meds you'll purchase in any farmacia when you get diarrhea. One is OXAL...there are two pills within the kit. Take one immediately and one in 24 hours. This is to kill parasites in the event you ate a fruit or veggie that had now not been correctly wiped clean. The different is Lomotil...take one at any time when you may have diarrhea, as much as four tabs an afternoon. You would not have a prescription for them and tehy are very inexpensive. You can ask nearby folks what's to be had there , too. Pepto bismal might relieve your signs, however it isn't a treatment. And a few folks discover it simply makes them vomit. Drink bottled water and use it to comb your tooth, too.

I went to Bolivia to visit the ruins and old, Jesuit Missions plus to see the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere. I also went to the Philippines.

I felt sad to see all the poverty in both countries and now I help out through my church. We have missions we support in Columbia, Ecuador and the Philippines.

I was just in Mexico on Satirday. I helped build a house. I wasn't too shocked as I had seen it before. I did find it rewarding.

The closest I've been was Jamaica.
Many of them had dirt floors and one room for the whole family, but they seemed more happy than anyone in the states with tons of money.
It really humbles you.
I'm glad to hear of your expeirences. !
